Humans have much to learn from one another, and it is through paper and pen that life lessons find a home, a place where both writers and readers find comfort. For her, comfort lies in the belief that life is a school.

Since childhood, Lucy has faced life’s challenges, which have shaped her character and taught her humility, empathy, and resilience. Her first book, “After the Accident,” depicts a journey of transformation, one that has taught her to lean on God, who empowers her with indelible lessons she hopes every victim or caregiver will come to know about acquired disability. She echoes the belief that life is a school, and when you learn, you share and empower, giving back to the community through life-changing words and stories.
