She believes in the power of storytelling, often an eye-opener to issues that are typically treated at face value. Humans have much to learn from one another, and it is through paper and pen that life lessons find a home, a place where both writers and readers find comfort. For her, comfort lies in the belief that life is a school.

Since childhood, Lucy has faced life’s challenges, which have shaped her character and taught her humility, empathy, and resilience. Her first book, “After the Accident,” depicts a journey of transformation, one that has taught her to lean on God, who empowers her with indelible lessons she hopes every victim or caregiver will come to know about acquired disability. She echoes the belief that life is a school, and when you learn, you share and empower, giving back to the community through life-changing words and stories.

She envisions a world where brave authors pass on transformative life lessons, the kind that cannot be fabricated. Everyday life offers us the opportunity to create impact, and Lucy has chosen to use her words as an eye-opener for those seeking wisdom in the school of life.
